I visited today to price out a repair for a necklace with a lot of sentimental value. I’d already visited Kay’s, where I was told the price would be $59 and it would be a 2-3 week turnaround because they ship it out to repair it. I figured I should do my due diligence and check Lowden’s as well, especially since they’re a locally owned small business that’s been in the community for 35 years. The ladies I spoke with were so welcoming and friendly. I was expecting a repair to be a little more expensive but I was wrong. $25 for the repair and it will be ready in just a couple days!! They repair everything in-house so I don’t have to worry about my grandmother’s necklace shipping to god-knows-where and back. I feel like I discovered a life hack. 12/10
